Instead of giving power to the cube using soldered wires you can add metal plates to the cube as well as stand so whenever the cube is placed on the stand it receives power through the plates. Moreover the plates can be added to all vertices of cube for user interaction.

Hello, programmatically display.setBrightness(0); is the least brightness we can have but if you are able to add resistors of about 470ohm between the 7 segment display and the TM1637 IC it might lower the brightness.

Yes, Pro mini as well as other modules work pretty well on lower voltage of about 3V and so the boost module can be removed to reduce the power consumption and eventually increase the run time.
I am glad you found out local businesses in your area and will love to see your recreation.

Thank you for your recommendation, the Adafruit 1000c does sum up charging with load sharing and boosts the voltage to 5V. I would definitely consider it in the next version.

Thank you! I will definitely look into the concept of charging while on load in further versions.

Great work!!!... How did you came up with the design of freeform structure or you just went with the flow???

It will jitter because the center of gravity of the robot is a bit closer to the axle. I think this much far is we can go with the build.

To find the right PID parameters start with Kp=2, Kd=0, Ki=0. If it does not respond quickly increase Kp, if it becomes too responsive (wobbles around) reduce Kp until satisfied. Then go for Kd - if kd is too high it will again wobble around. With just right Kd will balance perfectly. Start at 0.02.Kp has very less effect, don't worry about it.Hope this will help you.

The beeping noise indicates the motor is not able to overcome the force of friction between wheels and ground at lower RPM ... So you can use 3 x 3.7V Lipo batteries or shift to a external power source as I did.

Thank you for the tip. Will definitely consider it.
I have came up with the conclusion by only observing the results. Not sure about the series voltage method, need to try it.
I haven't devised the equation. Used one other big brains came up with.
View Instructable »I am sorry to completely miss that. The motor mount can found in supplies step, I have linked down the purchase link.No need to 3D print it.
