i don't know about that, 0.5A is quite a lot at those kinds of voltages. i think you'd probably have to go down to less than 10mA at 10^(15) volts to survive.but i'm no pro. so who knows.

i'm not at all good at it, but i tried to make a schematic of this circuit. maybe someone will find it useful.

yeah, i had to enable the LCD in firmware. it's all in the video.

you'd probably only need to make the steel rods longer, and the build plate bigger.

take a look at this: it's the tutorial i used when setting up an LCD for my main printer.

looks like a nice little printer, but i don't think SLA is something for me, the material is way too expensive.

a forge isn't designed to melt metal, only to heat it until it becomes soft and easy to shape. also the cement is a decent insulator, so the metal part doesn't even get above ~500 °C. so as long as it isn't made of or tin or something, it should be fine.
