Introduction: Shirt Print
This is my first instructable so please enjoy. This is something I when I was bored and it came out fine. All i use was a shirt, fabric paint, blade, paper poster, brush and finally an idea. I didn't waste a lot of money it was less than $20.
Step 1: The Idea
well i looked for things i like and i picked one of the my favorite painters. Once I pic what I wanted on my shirt it was time to start. i choose the poster paper cause I'm going to paint over it so it wont leak the paint. You can also you a special stencil sheet they sell in hobby shops if you want to keep the stencil for future shirts.
Step 2: Cutting
just use your blade exacto knife and make sure not to cut yourself lol. It depends what you want to color. For me i want to paint it white, so i cut out all the areas that are white leaving the black lines(see pics). Well you can see that i used strings the reason is to make sure the black lines stay in place while I'm painting.
Step 3: Paint Paint
ok this part took me a while to learn don't use brush strokes it helps if you dab the paint it also helps it you want to make a special effect. You can still use brush strokes it just depends on what you do. As you can see for what i did, i needed to dab so i can have more while on the black shirt. Every time I tried to use brush strokes i keep getting lest paint. You can let it dry up by letting it sit there or like I did I used a hair dryer.
Step 4: Details Details
just add a few finishing detail other colors and enjoy you work

I love the idea of using strings, I had been trying to find a way to do that for a while now.
