Introduction: 3D Sewing: Rings With Rope

About: My work combines conductive materials and craft techniques to develop new styles of building electronics that emphasize materiality and process. I create working prototypes to demonstrate the kinds of electron…

"Check if your material is sewable" and if not, then drill holes in it. Big holes. And sew with rope.

This hanging basket structure is a scaled-up version of the 3D Sewing: Rings with Strings technique.

This Instructable shows an example of milling and drilling sheets of MDF into large rings with holes in them and then sewing them together with rope.
