Introduction: 4 SPICE SHAKER

About: I live with my wife and children in Fort Worth, TX. We enjoy day-trips and junk stores. I'm a firm believer that homemade food tastes better and I love to try new recipes. When I can, I like to head out to the…

Most of the time when I cook beef, pork or chicken I have a tendency to use the same 4 spices in roughly the same ratios. This is an extremely simple way to add some convenience in the kitchen.

Please feel free to modify the ratios to your own personal tastes.

As always, thanks for reading!.

Step 1: Mix It, Bottle It, Label It

It's an extremely simple process.

You'll need:

2 TBSP Black Pepper

1.5 TBSP Salt

2 TBSP Granulated Onion

1.5 TBSP Garlic Powder

Dump the spices in a bowl and mix well. Find a suitable, clean spice shaker (I reused an old pepper shaker) and transfer your spice mix.

Shake before each use, as some settling will occur.

FYI, I made the super fancy label in Word and used Elmer's spray glue to adhere it. Impressed? Me neither, ha ha!

Step 2: Final Thoughts

I feel like having a pre bottled spice mix, it tends to make things a little easier when I cook.

Please let me know if you liked this Instructable.

I would also invite you to come up with your own spice concoction and bottle it up.

Have a great day!
