4th of July Flower Ponytail Holder

Since Fourth of July is almost here, I decided to make a hair accessory for my friend and I for the occasion.

Supplies

• 22 inch long ribbon
• Scissors
• Matching thread
• Sewing needle
• Ponytail holder

Step 1:

Fold the ribbon in half, length ways.

Step 2:

Sew one of the long sides together using the running stitch and pull so it takes a flower shape. Sew the two sides together to make it look like the picture above.

Step 3:

Sew the ponytail holder onto the flower. (Tip: Instead of looping the thread around the ponytail holder, make your thread go through it so the ponytail holder will be secured tighter.) If you have any questions, please ask! Also, if you make this I would love to see it!
