Introduction: ACIII Assassin Cosplay (Largely Based Off of Connor Kenway)

About: i am an aspiring prop maker and keen sci-fi fan. i found this site a few years back and i did not know i'd ever love it this much! i'm mostly into Assassin's Creed cosply and Star Wars Cosplay.
so you've played ACIII?
I HAVEN'T!!!!! XD
You've probably wanted to make your own Assassin. So here's how you do it.

Step 1: Step 1: the Coat

The first thing you need is the coat.
the coat can be bought here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Assassins-Leather-Conner-Kenway-Cosplay/dp/B00BOX65AG/ref=sr_1_11?s=clothing&ie=UTF8&qid=1364143188&sr=1-11
it comes in:
Blue and white
Black and Blue
Green and White
Red and Black
Red and White
White and Purple
Black and Purple (Female exclusive)
You buy this Coat to your size or just an extra large.
I chose the Red and Black. i like the dark colours for an assassin.

Step 2: Step 2: the Shirt and Trousers.

BLACK: white shirt
WHITE: White shirt

Usually a pair of Blue Jeans on the White/Black and blue Coat is a nice compliment
A pair of Black Jeans with the Black and Red suited mine.
Green trousers go with the Green Coat, which isn't a popular coat either.
Black jeans just go with the rest of the Coats.

BOOTS:
The Boots would be Black or Brown.

Step 3: Step 3: the Weapon

you can choose any weapon to wield. I chose the Tomahawk.
the weapon links are here:

the Black Flag Hidden Blade is only for Preorder until 20th october 2013

Step 4: Step 4: an Insignia

the last thing you need is an insignia.
i'd go with the ACIII insignia.
build a 1:1 scale template of the insignia from cardboard, Stretch it around your stomach so you get a feel of it (LITERALLY)
paper mache it and keep it within shape.
when it's dry, smoothen it, spray paint it silver and let it dry.
now attach two brown strips to either side and fix them down somehow, then velcro around the back. try it on to see if it fits snugly.
when that's done, you should have your own Assassin.
Put it all on in this order.

Shirts
Trousers
Belly Belt
Coat
Weapon.
