Who else is a Crashbandicoot fan?!

This is a weekend crafting project (maybe for halloween as well), It took me 1 hour to sketch it on Inkscape, 30min to laser-cut it and 3 hours to paint it, but really enjoyed it, I hope you too!

Important: You can either find a laser-cut provider or cut it by hand.

Soy fan del juego Crash-bandicoot!

Para esta manualidad de fin de semana o noche de brujas, me tomó 1 hora dibujarlo en Inkscape, 30min cortarlo en láser y 3 horas pintarlo, pero espero que ustedes también les guste!

Nota: Pueden buscar un proveedor de corte láser o cortarlo a mano.

Supplies

3mm Plywood 50 x 50cm (20x20in) or similar
Glue
Acrilic Paint (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Brown)
Brushes

MDF o Triplay de 3mm con 50x50cm o similar
Pegamento
Pintura acrílica (Rojo, Amarillo, Verde, Café)
Pinceles

Step 1: Sketch the Mask!

You can either sketch it by hand, use the open source software for vectors called Inkscape or just download the PDF file.

If you find a laser-cut provider use the file extensions .dxf just to send them for cut.

Pueden dibujar a mano los trazos, usar un programa de uso libre llamado Inkscape o sólo descargar el archivo adjunto.

Si usan un proveedor de corte láser usen los archivos de extensión .dxf adjuntos para corte.

Step 2: Glue the Mask Pieces

Time to glue all the mask pieces together I accidentally cut in between the feathers but I paste them again because I liked it more.

Step 3: Time to Enjoy Painting!

I enjoyed this part by mixing colors to get all the most realistic colors from the real mask,

Tip: Don't add white! It will make horrible color combinations.

Hora de pintar! La parte que más disfruté por mezclar los colores hasta tener tonalidades similares a la máscara original, darle sombras y volúmenes con diferentes tonalidades es súper importante.
