Paper cups are very common and are used in almost every household. These cups lie as a waste substance in some corner of the house. They can be converted into a beautiful home décor. It can also serve as a perfect holder.

It is commonly used for serving the purpose but many of us are unaware of the beautiful crafts that can be made from it. Here, we bring one such beautiful home décor idea from paper cups.

Step 1: Things You Need

  • Printed Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Disposable
  • Paper Glasses
  • Pen
  • Cutter
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Glue Gun
  • Ruler

Step 2: Let's Make a Flower Pattern Using Paper Cups!

  • Take 4 paper cups of the size and draw the markings on it.
  • Cut along these markings to divide the paper cups into two halves.
  • Join the cutout paper cups using the glue gun in a pattern that resembles that of a flower.

Step 3: Let's Make the Base!

  • Take a cardboard and draw the base of the cup pattern on it.
  • Cut along the markings to get a flower shape. This will serve as the base for the design.
  • Paste the cutout design at the base of the paper cup.

Step 4: Let's Cover the Paper Cups!

  • Now take a plain sheet and draw an outline of the cutout paper cup.
  • Now take a printed sheet and use the stencil to draw the outline on it. Cut it.
  • Paste the cutout pieces on the paper cup design.
  • Apply glue on the base and cover it with a printed sheet.

Step 5: Let's Cover the Inner Portion!

  • Now take a printed paper sheet and cut out a thin strip from it.
  • Take the cutout strip, fold it and paste it on the inner portion of the design to cover the joined areas.

Step 6: Let's Make the Stand for the Design!

  • Now take another paper cup and draw the markings on it. Cut it to form the stand for the design.
  • Take a printed sheet and cut out a paper piece to paste around the paper cup.
  • Now draw a circle on a sheet similar to the mouth of the cup and cut it.
  • Paste the entire design on the cup stand.
  • Now seal the mouth of the cup with the circular piece.

Wow!! Your amazing craft from a paper cup is now ready.

Step 7: ​Conclusion

This can serve as a perfect home décor and a holder. You can further decorate your home by keeping paper flowers or any other substance to make it even more attractive. It can also act as a centrepiece.
