Anime has always been popular in media throughout Asia and more recently, the United States. So, I thought I would try my hand at an Anime-styled look. Please feel free to let me know in the comments if you think I nailed it or failed it.

Step 1: Conceal

First, hide your blemishes with with concealer. Concealer is my favorite makeup product, as it works wonders for your appearance. To put on concealer, you can either dab it on if it's liquid, or rub it in, if it's in stick form. For concealers I used the Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer by Clinique and the Tea Tree Concealer by The Body Shop.

Step 2: Slather on That Foundation

Foundation is somewhat of a problem for me, because I ALWAYS put on too much. Apply foundation by gently dabbing it onto your face with a sponge or a brush. I used the Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 by Neutrogena.

Step 3: Set With Powder

Assuming you used liquid foundation like I did, you're going to want to set your look with powder. To set your look, dust your brush around your face. I used the bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 and the bareMinerals Mineral Veil to set my look.

Step 4: Brighten Up Your Eyes

For this part, I lined my top lids with e.l.f.'s Essentials Brightening Eyeliner and swept the white from Studio Shimmer Palette in the corners of my eyes. I also brushed my lashes with CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara and They're Real! Mascara by Benefit.

Step 5: Bronzing

I know, I know. I should've shown how I did it. But the truth is, you just brush it on your cheekbones, at your temples, in the corners of your nose, and on your chin if you have a strong jaw (which I don't). Make sure you blend, or it could look extremely severe. I used e.l.f's Studio Baked Bronzer to give me a nice tan.

Step 6: The Final Touches

To finish it off, I used e.l.f.'s Mineral Lipstick and Essential 4-Piece Shimmer Gloss Set. The pink one, to be a bit more specific. I included a couple close ups of the finished product. I'm pretty proud of it.
