This is a daily timed, vibro-feeder for my turtles, easy and nice.
was think for feed my turtles when i am not in home

Este es un alimetador vibratorio Programado, diario para mis tortugas , fácil y bonito, bueno no tan bonito.
pensado en alimentar a mis tortugas cuando queden solas en casa, cuando salimos un par de días de vacaciones.

Step 1: Materials

Materials

For Control

1-3vdc Motor (preferably with unbalanced shaft "vibromotor")
1 Capacitor 1000uf
2-Resistors 1K ohm
1-Resistor 100 ohm
1-resistor 50 ohm
1-Led
1-transistor 2n3904
1-transistor 2n3906
wire

For the vibrator

Little plastic bottle
Cardboard
glue
duct tape


5vdc adaptor

**1 -daily or weekly Timer, i bought it on "Lider" is a franchise of Walmart for under Us$10

1-Motor de 3vdc (preferiblemnte con eje desbalanceado "vibrador")

Pequeña Botella Plastica (yo utilice una botella de Endulzante)

**1-Temporizador semanal u horario**, lo compre en el Lider por  $4000 cl pesos

Step 2: The Plan

The Plan

Put the vibrator loaded on the fish tank, connected to the Timer, programed to turned on once a day,
when the timer turns on , the vibrator start during the capacitor time of charge (2 secs, aprox C*(R1+R2))
then it turns off ( the LED now discharge the capacitor  )

Se coloca el vibrador sobre la pescera, cargado con alimento
y se conecta al Temporizador Semanal, que esta programado para encenderse al mediodia todos los dias
Cuando se enciende, el vibrador funciona durante el tiempo de carga del Capacitor (2 segundos C*(R1+R2))
y luego se apaga (el condensador se descarga a travez del LED)

Step 3: Putting Together the Electronics

Putting together the electronics

Is relatively simple just put all together according to the schema
When the timer turns on , the transistor go to saturation, until the capacitor charges, then
the base of the 2N3904 go to negative and everything turns off (aprox 2sec. of feeder)

Armado de la electronica

Es relativamente simple, cuando llega la alimentacion , los transistores estan en saturacion
y alimentan el motor, a medida que el capacitor se va cargando, la base del 2n3904 queda en
potencial negativo y el motor se apaga (aproximadamente 2 segundos)

The vibrator

The bottle have two holes, one for feeder and one exit, the motor is on touch with the bottle to make it vibrate.

Armando el vibrador

La botella tiene una boca de entrada para cargar y una de salida, el motor va montado en contacto directo
con la botella para producir la vibración.
el soporte esta construido en cartón
