Introduction: Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza

This pizza is sooooo good! We made it one day as a skillet pizza and it was delicious. To save you the googling, a skillet pizza is a pizza cooked on a skillet instead of a pizza stone. This can also be used as a regular pizza recipe. Please note that the bacon jam is not necessary, you can use bacon. I totally recommend the bacon jam because it is sweet and has a good contrast to the rest of the flavors. Without further ado, let’s get cooking!

Supplies

Pizza Dough
Bacon Jam
Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese
Hamburger Meat
Barbecue Sauce

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

First you will roll out the crust. We made it by scratch, but you can also buy the dough. Roll it out like image one and let sit under plastic wrap to rise for one hour.

Step 2: Add Toppings 😋

Now you will add toppings. We grated the cheese to make it taste fresher. First add the barbecue sauce. You do not need a lot of this, it will have a strong flavor when baked. Next add the cheese. It will taste best if mixed. Now add the bacon jam. You also will not need a lot of this, it will taste strong. We put on about two spoonfuls for the whole pizza. Lastly you will add the ground hamburger meat. This will need to be cooked previously before adding. Your pizza is almost ready!

Step 3: Cook

The skillet pizza and the regular pizza take about the same time. Cook either on 500 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
