Introduction: Biryani With Coconut Milk

-Biryani is one of the famous indian food.Rice blended with veggies and spices makes it very flavorful.

-By adding coconut milk we get nice aroma of it and tastes more better than normal biryani.

Ingredients:

-Bowl of all your favourite veggies(carrot,beans,potato,cauliflower)

-spices(cloves,cardamom,cinnamom,bayleaf)

-cumin

-turmeric

-salt

-coraiander powder

-red chilli powder

-Ginger garlic paste

-sliced onion and green chillies

-mint leaves

-cooking oil

- 2 cups basmati rice

- 1 cup coconut milk

-3 cups water

Step 1: First Step:

-Take little oil in vessel. Add cumin,sliced onions and green chilli and fry till onions turn little brown.

Step 2: Add Spices

-Next add all spices cloves,cinnamon,cardamom and ginger garlic paste and fry for few seconds.

Step 3: Add Veggies:

-Next step is to add turmeric,Bay leaf and veggies.

-After adding veggies give a mix and maintain medium flame. Dont over cook your veggies because we need to add to rice and cook again.

Step 4: Add Remaining Spices:

-Now add handful of mint leaves and spices red chilli powder,coriander powder,salt and give a mix

Step 5: Add Coconut Milk

-Add a cup of coconut milk.mix everything.

Step 6: Transfer Prepared Curry to Soaked Rice

-I have taken 2 cups basmati rice and soaked in 3 cups water.

-Transfer the prepared curry to soaked rice and cook in electric rice cooker or pressure cooker.

- Garnish with shredded coconut and serve hot with salad and raita.
