Blueberry Vodka Infusion

Introduction: Blueberry Vodka Infusion

Welcome to the super easy way to make vodka not suck

Supplies

You will need
Some blueberries
A bottle of vodka
A mason jar and lid

Step 1: The Berries

Put some berries in a jar. The more you add the faster they will infuse. Also the stronger you can make the blueberry flavor.

Step 2: Add the Vodka

Now add vodka. I use cheapish but not super cheap vodka. It's a neutral spirit so it will take on the flavor of whatever you add to it, but there's no sense in giving yourself a trash booze hangover. Screw the lis on and forget you have this little treasure for the next few weeks.

Never tried it with blueberries before. I've used coffee beans, peppercorns, basil, garlic but not yet blueberries. Incidentally with the ingredients mentioned I only used one at a time.
Peach is a nice thought too.

Very interesting! How do you use the infused spices?

Same as you do. Put the stuff in a jar, cover with vodka & pretend it is not there for a while. When you can no longer bear to wait, strain & grab a glass.
