Introduction: Bride and Groom Clothespin Favor
It's wedding season! Make your own sweet little wedding favors or guest name card holders on the cheap. I've made these for my friend's throwback wedding, and yes, I guess I'm cheap! ;) Paint a clothespin as the bride on one side, the groom on the other, then pinch it to cause them to make out. Ah, PDA! Hang them out to dry!
You will need:
- 1 wooden clothespin
- paintbrushes
- white paint
- black paint
- fine tip black marker
- fine tip red marker
- scissors
- white tissue paper
- white tulle
- glue
- mini flower sticker
Step 1: Let's Get Dressed
Paint the groom's shirt and bride's gown on in white. Paint on the groom's black tux.
Step 2: Face It
Use your black marker to draw on their eyes, giving the missus longer eyelashes. Give her some red lipstick while you're at it.
Step 3: Details, Details
Give him a little black bowtie, and adorn her with a string of white pearls using a dotting motion with a fine brush.
Step 4: Veil Her Up
Cut out a long teardrop shaped piece of tissue paper for the bride's veil and glue it to the back of her head. Give it a trim, however you please. Glue on a similar sized shape of tulle on top of the tissue paper. Stick on the floral piece.
Step 5: You May Now Kiss the Bride!
Pinch it!

very cute. One thing, it is easy to take the pin apart to paint, then put back together. I 'spose, if you have done many of these and nobody has cared, it doesn't really matter, but, still, would look a bit better. Love the idea. [Don't tell anyone I'm stealing this... shhhh]

Yes, after 100 of them, it's not ideal to go there ;) I've got a careful steady hand. And I won't tell anyone about the thievery-- all welcome!

Clothespins are wonderful things. You've done such a nice Instructable with this. I still have a Christmas decoration: Santa and reindeer my Grandma made which is way older than you. The only thing I'd suggest for this Instructable would be to reverse the bride and groom because of her hand placement. Otherwise, top drawer!

That is so cute! I love that decoration :) I tried the reverse way, with the groom on the other, but I liked this way because it reminded me of long fancy gloves. I know, she looks a bit ready for the honeymoon, huh? ;) HA!! Thanks for stopping by with your lovely photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
