Introduction: Chicken Thandoori
This is a very easy and tasty Thandoori chicken recipe which is really awesome.
The ready made Thandoori paste is freely available over here in all Asian stores.
I have tried both the powder and paste. There is no difference, both are good.
Please try this out it is really good and tasty.
Step 1: Ingredients
Chicken pieces with the bones
Thandoori paste or Powder
Butter milk or Plain yogurt
Step 2: Pre Heat the Oven
Set oven between 180-200 Celsius before you start preparing your chicken
Step 3:
Mix thandoori powder and butter milk or yogurt. Not too thick or too light. The consistency should be like a paste to apply on the chicken.
Protect your hands with a pair of gloves or wrap around with a tissue bag, because of the stains.Apply the paste all around the chicken.
Arrange them in a baking dish and cover it.
if you are using the ready made paste from the bottle, you don't need to mix butter milk or yogurt.Just apply the paste only.
Step 4:
Bake in the pre heated oven for about 30-45 minutes.half way through open the lid and turn the chicken pieces with the tongs.
Once it is done lay the chicken pieces on a strainer,so that the entire water drops.
Once it is dry re apply the balance paste on the chicken pieces and set it on the baking tray.
The baking tray should be on the last shelf in the oven.Or it will get burnt.Grill them until it turns a bit blackish /brown in color
Step 5: TA DA!
The grilling smell will make you even more hungry.....Go get your plate and be the first to serve.
Sharing with love and enjoy it.
Note:
I have posted this in the Hurriecane contest too.
I am a day care mom who is working full time, and do not have enough time for my sewing and crafting work which I love it very much.If ever I win the laser cutter I will give up my full time job or reduce it to a couple of hours(because I do a lot of craft work with the kids and they will be dissapointed to see me no more)and start my own business at home as I have enough and more sewing orders which I can not do it on time.Every instructable I do with the help of the laser cutter,I will definetly post it on this great site.
