Introduction: Clothespin Snowflake

We haven’t had much snow yet where I live, so I thought I would make my own.

Supplies

Clothespins (I used eight for each snowflake)

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

White paint and a paint brush

Clear glue(I used spray enamel)

White or clear sparkles/glitter (the sparkles/glitter that I used was called diamond dust)

Step 1: Starting the Snowflake

First you want to disassemble the clothespins by removing the springs from between the wood pieces.

Step 2: Glue

Then glue the smooth ends together.

Step 3: Paint

Next, paint them white.

Step 4: Glue Snowflake Together

Glue each clothespin end to the other ends (pointy end facing out) making a circle.

Step 5: Finishing the Snowflake

To finish the snowflake spray it with a clear enamel. Then immediately after, dust sparkles on it.

Step 6: Finished

The snowflake is complete. I made several more and hung them around my house, but you can also glue them together and make a cool wreath for your door. If anyone makes this I would love to see a picture of your version.
