Crafty Fidget Spinner - Make the Way You LIke

Fidget spinner is a stress buster that everyone is fond of, it is a stress relief and overall it makes a fun toy. After the initial design, there are thousands of designs you can find of the fidget spinner, each designed to own personal style.

I like to craft so I had to make a paper version of it, as it is recyclable after use and it is easy to be shaped into anything you want it to be.

So in this instructable, I'm going to show you how to make a Cardboard Fidget Spinner.

Step 1: Things Required

All you need is,

2 colour sheets (any colour)
Card Board (2cm x 2cm)
Toothpick
Scissors
Xacto Knife

Step 2: Folding

First, you'll need a square sheet of paper, to get a square sheet you need to fold the sheet diagonally from the upper right corner
And now cut the bottom part remaining part of the paper to make a perfect square.

Step 3: #1 Creasing

Take the square sheet and fold it into a half, again fold it in half to make the two corners meet.
Crease the paper as seen in the images till you get lines with which you can work with in the next step.
Next, you'll fold each of the corners down on a diagonal. Make sure that they are in opposite direction.
Next, you’re going to take the points and fold them down to form another triangle.
Now keep the two paper folds in the position as shown in the picture.Now tuck in each corner with the little fold.

Step 4: #2 Fold and Creasing

Repeat the previous step following the images. You can use any color combination of your choice.

Step 5: Blades

Now you should have similar looking mirror image parts as seen in the picture.
Next, make three folds as shown above until it looks like a blade of a fan.

Step 6: Cut Holder

Now take a small cardboard piece and a coin. Cut the cardboard into a round shape about the size of a coin.
After you make a hole in the middle of both the rounded cardboard.
Fix the toothpick piece through the hole made in any one of the rounded cardboard using a glue.
Next, pass the paper fidget through the hole made, fix the another rounded cardboard as shown in the picture with glue.

Step 7: Rotating Mechanism

You need to make a hole in the size of tooth pick right in the middle of the fidget spinner.
Next, pass the paper fidget through the hole made, fix the another rounded cardboard as shown in the picture with glue.
This gives it an even spin and you are now ready with your fidget spinner made out of cardboard.
