Customize Your Boots With Studs!

Ever feel a little edgy?... That's when its time for studs! This tutorial is simple and easy!

Step 2: Gather Your Supplies

Supplies Needed:
Tools:

• Awl
• Ruler

Materials:

• Pair of Boots ( I am using Bearpaw Emma Tall Cold Weather Boots in Hickory, you can find the same kind here)
• Studs ( I used Gold 10mm Spike Studs, you can find the same kind here. I bought a pack of 200 and ended up using 172! Cutting it close!)
• Pen

Step 3: Add the Studs

• Awl
• Ruler

Materials:

• Your Boots
• Studs
• Pen

I wanted my studs to be evenly spaced so I used a ruler and a pen to mark out their positions before hand. The pen marks will disappear once you poke a hole to add your studs.

Once the positions are marked, use an awl (or something sharp) to poke holes through each marking.

To add the studs, insert the back piece through the inside of the boot and screw on the top of the stud.

Repeat for all studs, and your done!

Step 4: Wear and Enjoy!

Now you can wear your custom boots out and about and enjoy! : )
