Introduction: DELICIOUS Strawberry & Orange Sorbet

Here you will find the most DELICIOUS, SIMPLE, HEALTHY, Strawberry & Orange Sorbet Recipe.

Supplies

- 1 Cup of Fresh or Frozen Strawberries

- 1/8 Cup of Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

- 1/4 Cup of Water

- 1/8 Cup of Sugar

- A Splash of Lime Juice

Step 1: Prep for Strawberries

So if you decide to use Fresh Strawberries, you it is mandatory that you Freeze your Strawberries before. The reason it is mandatory that you Freeze them, is because when you blend or process them and they are not Frozen your mixture will be EXTREMELY liquidy. If you are using Fresh Strawberries you will need to Freeze them for about 30 minutes to 1 hour (do not freeze for any longer than one hour or they will be too frozen and you will have to defrost them).

Step 2: Creating a Simple Syrup

What is a Simple Syrup? Well, A Simple Syrup is a mixture made up of Sugar and Water. Pretty Simple, Right! So you will need to bring 1/4 Cup of Water to a boil in a small saucepan. Once Water has come to a boil, add 1/8 Cup of Sugar. Once your Sugar has all dissolved, pour your Simple Syrup into a heat safe/ glass bowl and let cool for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Blend Your Ingredients

Next, you will need to blend all of your ingredients together. First, add in your Strawberries and pulse them in your blender or food processor until chunky. Then, you will need to add in your Simple Syrup mixture, 1/8 Cup of Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (you can also use Bottled Orange Juice, I just squeezed juice out of an Orange), and A Splash of Lime Juice (not too much though or it can become sour). Blend until a "smoothie texture".

Step 4: Freeze Your Mixture

Now, you are going to put your Mixture in a freezable container and put in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours, stirring every hour.

Step 5: Enjoy & Serve

Once your Mixture is done freezing and is at a good "sorbet-like consistency" you are free to eat it right out of the container! This recipe makes about 1 Cup of Sorbet. Enjoy!
