In this tutorial I will show you how to make four Christmas cards using watercolor pencils.

PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO TO UNDERSTAND THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS.

Supplies

Pencil, eraser, ruler, brushes, water, watercolor pencils, white paint, tissue paper, watercolor paper X4 (10,5x14,5cm each sheet)

Step 1: #1 Rabbit

Rabbit Christmas card.

Steps:

1) Sketch the rabbit and the gift box

2) Choose your favourite colors for painting the card. I used: light pink, dark pink, red, light green, dark green and purple.

3) Color and paint your drawing using watercolor pencils.

4) Once the paint dried, outline the drawing using a dark pencil (I used the purple one). Add details with the white paint.

Step 2: #2 Cat

Cat Christmas card.
Steps:

1) Sketch the cat and the gift box

2) Choose your favourite colors for painting the card. I used: black, pink, cyan, red and purple.

3) Color and paint your drawing using watercolor pencils.

4) Once the paint dried, outline the drawing using a dark pencil (I used the purple one). Add details with the white paint.

Step 3: #3 Dog

Dog Christmas card.
Steps:

1) Sketch the dog and the gift box

2) Choose your favourite colors for painting the card. I used: green, blue, red, dark pink, brown.

3) Color and paint your drawing using watercolor pencils.

4) Once the paint dried, outline the drawing using a dark pencil (I used the red one). Add details with the white paint.

Step 4: #4 Bird

Bird Christmas card.
Steps:

1) Sketch the bird and the gift box

2) Choose your favourite colors for painting the card. I used: red, yellow, grey, blue and violet.

3) Color and paint your drawing using watercolor pencils.

4) Once the paint dried, outline the drawing using a dark pencil (I used the blue one). Add details with the white paint.

Step 5: Final Result

This is the final result.
