Want a rose that she won't forget? Here is an easy rose that anyone can make. It consists of 4 sheets of paper, small or large whatever your preference. You can make a bouquet out of them or you can just give her a rose. You can attach them to pens or pencils, or a flower headband. You can use it for many different purposes. I hope that you and her both enjoy this amazing rose.

Step 1: Supplies

You will only need a few supplies for this instructable.

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Quarter
  • Crochet hook/something round
  • Pencil
  • Paper of any size

Step 2: Folding the Pieces

Take a piece of paper, it doesn't matter what size. I am using 7"x7" paper. Feel free to use larger or smaller paper. Fold the paper in half diagonally making a triangle. Fold the triangle in half again making another triangle. Fold the paper in half one more time making a small triangle. Do the same on all 4 pieces of paper.

Step 3: Creating Flowers

Take the pieces that you just folded and using a quarter trace around the quarter to get a round flower shape. Cut out the first flower, and then use that as a guide to cut out the other three. Once you have these cut out, cut the tip of each flower off. Unfold the flowers. You should have 4 flowers with a hole in the center of the flower.

Step 4: Cutting Out the Petals and Preparing to Create Flowers and Petals

Take the four flower that you just cut out and take the first one. Cut one flower petal out of the entire flower. Set both pieces aside. Take the second flower and cut out two of the petals. Set these pieces aside. Take the third flower and cut out three of the petals. Set these pieces aside. Take the last flower and cut it in half. Set these pieces aside. You should have 8 petals in total.

Step 5: Making the Flowers

Take the three flower petals that you cut out of one of the entire petals and glue two sides together making two petal when it folds up. You will need a sharp tool to poke the bottom of the flower in order to make the flower an actual petal. Next take the four petals and clue two sides to that one as well. You should end up with three petals and a bowl shaped flower. Repeat this step making another petal with three petals. Then take the 5 flower petals and fold it up and glue two sides as well. You should then have 4 petals. Take the 6 petal one and glue two sides together making yet another bowl shaped flower with 5 petals. Finally you take the 7 petal flower and glue two sides together making the last flower with 6 petals.

Step 6: Assembling the Flower

Take the first petal. It is the one that you cut out of the whole flower of one of the four. Roll it up as you would a newspaper when hitting something with it. This will be the center of the flower. Take the next petal. This one is the two petal piece. Add glue to the tip of the one that you just rolled up and place it on the edge of the second petal. Roll the petal up in the second picture. You should have the beginning of the flower. Next take the three petal piece that you folded and made to have two petals with. Add glue to the middle part of the flower. Insert the middle of the flower into this next petal. Now you should have three layers. ***Add more glue to the bottom/tip of this bunch and insert it into the next flower petal. This should have three petals on it. You should now have 4 layers.*** Repeat from ***to*** for the next layer giving you five layers. Next you will take this bunch and add glue to the tip of the flower and insert it into the next petal which should have four petals on it. Squeeze the bottoms together to ensure that the petals are sticking together. Do the same on the next flower with should have 5 petals on it. Finally do this one more time and insert the entire flower into the last layer of the flower which should have 6 petals on it. Squeeze tightly and then take liquid glue and squeeze some down into the part of each layer where it is connected. Allow the glue to dry and then on to the next step.

Step 7: Finishing the Flower

To add a slight curl to the tips of the flower, take a pencil/pen/crochet hook/anything round and wrap the tip of the flower petal around the too.. Do this on all of the petal tips and then kind of curl them with your fingertips. Once you are done, you are finished with the flower.
