Step 1: Material List

Rummage your closet, storage or even your local Thrift Store.

-Old pair of jeans
-Shoes
-Duck Tape
-Two pieces of scrap wood (for stakes)
-A pair of stockings
-Craft papers etc (shoe embellishments)
-Plastic grocery bags (for stuffing) or anything else on
hand that will do.

Step 2: Duck Tape

Start wrapping the duck tape around one of your legs starting on your upper thigh to your ankle. You want it snug but not to tight because you will need a little space for the scissors when cutting them off.

Time to remove, start around the top of your thigh and cut a complete circle. (have a new set of cut off's..lol) Your next cut will be on the inner part of your leg from the top to bottom. Take your time not to nick your leg with the scissors.

TIP: Wrap one leg at a time and then cut off.

I wrapped both legs at the same time, was stiff legged and by the time I cut one side off the other side was tight and losing circulation.

Step 3: Finishing the Legs

Duck tape up the seam on each leg and place the stockings over each one.

Place a piece of wood for the stake into each leg and stuff with plastic grocery bags or whatever you have on hand. Add extra stuffing in the stocking past the end of the leg where the foot would be. This will help to keep the shoe on.

When finished I duck taped the end of the stocking to the piece of wood.

Step 4: Add Shoes

You can get crafty and make a buckle etc. I used foam craft sheets (from local craft store) which had an adhesive backing to make the flap and the red buckle.

I had so much fun making these and laughed my butt off in the process. There's nothing like seeing a fake pair of your own legs.

For another idea, use swimming pool foam noodles for stuffing the stockings.

This is awesome, and looks so great, I kind of want to make some with red shoes on and have them coming out of the front of the house. So many possibilities, thank you for sharing
