DIY Project Materials

The first step of this DIY project is to get your materials. The materials you need are a mason jar, battery-operated LED lights, paint (optional), and glue (optional).

Step 1: Open the Mason Jar and Put the LED Lights Inside of the Jar

The LED lights don't come with batteries, so you have to get those on your own and put them into the lights.

Step 2: Close the Lid of the Mason Jar With the LED Lights Inside

Step 3: Get Your Paint and Decorate the Mason Jar However You Would Like

I decorated my mason jar to look like grass at the bottom, but you can decorate it however you choose.

Step 4: Turn Off the Lights and Enjoy Your Very Own Firefly Lamp!
