I'm so excited to share this video with you! If you like chocolate, you'll love this DIY. These soaps are great for yourself or for friends. They are also great for Valentine's Day since they look like chocolates but are so much more unique and personal. If you like the video please give it a favorite and comment down below. Step 1: Gather Materials!

For this DIY you will need...

-Glycerin soap base

-Cocoa powder or food coloring

-1 Tbls Coconut oil (optional)

-Silicone cupcake molds (or paper cupcake molds)

-measuring cup

-knife

-spoon

-cutting board

Step 2: Chop Your Glycerin Soap Base

Cut your soap base into cubes, cutting the soap base makes it easier for it to melt. Each cube makes about two chocolate soaps. multiply the amount of soaps you want to make by 1/2 to get the amount of cubes you will need.

Step 3: Melt the Soap Base and Coconut Oil

Melt the soap base at 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between each. It took me about four times before my soap completely melted, but the amount of times will var based on the amount of soap you are melting.

Step 4: Add Color and Scents

Now it's time to make it chocolatey (a.k.a the best part!). Add in some cocoa powder for the chocolate scent and color. If you don not have the cocoa powder you can add food coloring and chocolate scents instead. Mix well until fully incorporated, there should be n chunks of powder.

Step 5: Pour the Soap Into Molds

Set up your cupcake molds, if you are using paper cupcake liners I would recommend layering a few to make sure the molds are sturdy and thick so the soap won't go through. Now pour in the soap mixture. Pour it about one centimeter up, or the same height of a peanut butter cup. If there are bubbles and it bothers you, you can either try to take them out before pouring, spray the poured soap with rubbing alcohol, or cut it off at the end.

Step 6: Let Cool and Pop Out of Molds

Let your soaps cool for about 30 minutes or until hardened. You can speed up the process by putting them in the fridge. Once your soaps are cooled you can pop them out of their molds. If you used paper cupcake liners, simply peel back the paper and that's it.

Step 7: Enjoy Your Chocolate Soap!

Few! that was easier than you thought! Now you can either wrap them nicely and give them to friends, or keep them for your washing pleasures. These soaps make perfect gifts for a friend, or Valentine and household must-haves! They literally look like chocolate, so if you plan to give them to a friend make sure you include some sort of label to let them know that these treats are NOT edible.
