DIY Smart Phone Holder

Create a simple mobile phone holder in less than 30 minutes!

Step 1: Measure and Cut Material

Mark out phone dimensions on a piece or foam board or any sturdy cardboard

Step 2: Add Side Panels

Cut out two side panels as well to prevent phone from slipping off from the side

Step 3: Glue Them Up

Use hot glue or any other adhesive to assemble them as shown

Step 4: Create Back Piece

Cut out another small piece of material and stick a piece of metal sheet as shown. I used a small piece of leftover aluminium sheet, but any ranging from L brackets, hinges, or even more cardboard will do as well.

Step 5: Attach Back Piece

Stick the back piece on to the main holder

Step 6: Cut a Hole for Speaker

Approximate the location of your phone's speaker output position and cut a hole for it on the main holder so that your phone's ringtone will not sound muffled.

Step 7: Complete!

This cost me nothing as materials are all from leftover materials from previous projects.
