If you haven’t made jewellery before, then this DIY tripple layer necklace is the perfect beginners project. Nothing too complicated, just a few simple techniques to learn, opening a jump ring, and crimping. You could even simplify if you don’t want to use crimping pliers by just tying a knot. Mine with sterling silver so it will last longer, then I can wear it all the time (justifying the time it took to make!) You can get mini pliers from any DIY store, or check out Ebay for some super cheap versions.
