Introduction: Delicious Pumpkin Dip for Halloween or Thanksgiving

About: Hi! I am Klinong, that is how my loving family calls me, except my brother, he calls me Krinyol, as I have silly curly hair :) I love Instructables for forever now, especially for the contests ha-ha!, but I …

For the same recipe, you can serve this pumpkin dips either for Halloween or Thanksgiving, with appropriate cookie cutters!

Step 1: Ingredients and Method

For the chips:

1/4 c sugar

1 heaping tsp cinnamon powder

10 tortillas

Spray baking sheet with oil spray

Mix dry ingredients

Cut tortillas using cookie cutter, cat, ghost, skeleton etc for Halloween, or pumpkin, turkey, etc for Thanksgiving

Bake at 350 F until crisp, about 8-12 mins, cool on rack

Pumpkin dip:

1 block cream cheese, room temperature

2 c icing sugar

1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)

3 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp vanilla essence

1/2 tsp ginger powder

Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy then add in pumpkin puree gradually followed with the rest of the ingredients

Step 2: Serving

This dip is awesome chilled, great warmed, so either way is fine although I prefer them chilled.

I use this plastic jack o lantern that can be purchased at Dollar Store. Since I am not sure whether it's food safe or not, I washed clean and pat dry then lined with plastic wrap

I fill up ziplock bag with dip, snip the corner, and pipe dip into jack o lantern

I serve the front side where you can see jack o lantern grin with zombies and cat (I broke hands and legs here and there, making the skeleton shaped chips into zombies) for Halloween and the turkey and pumpkin shaped chips for Thanksgiving and only by turning the jack o lantern so you cannot see its grin ;)

Enjoy~
