Introduction: Duct Tape Heart

Here is a quick heart made from a duct tape rod and 4 small strips of duct tape.

Step 1: Making a Rod

Place a strip of duct tape face down about 15 inches long on a giant mouse pad. Then starting a side, pick up a small bit of the duct tape and pinch it over on the non sticky side. I use both hands at a time doing this and only do about an inch at a time till I do the whole length of it. At this point I have really pushed the duct tape into the mouse pad and I need to break the bond it has developed. Tear up the strip and gently lay it back down and lightly get the creases out, till it's laying flat again on the mouse pad. Place your fingers evenly across the strip and push forward. This technique WILL take lots of practice to get it perfect. Once finished rolling it you will have a sticky rod.

Step 2: Coloring the Rod

Cut a strip of colored the same length as the sticky rod. Place the color face down/sticky side up. Carefully place the sticky rod on the edge of the strip. Give it a half roll and pat down the edge of the strip. Put your fingers evenly across the rod and push down and forward.

Step 3: Making the Heart

Prepare 4 small strips of duct tape, fold the color rod in half and tape the ends together using 2 of the strips. Bend the rest of the rod around alot to get the heart shape. Tape the inside heart using the other 2 strips.
All done! You can even add a pen!
