Introduction: Duct Tape Roll Made Easy to Carry

Everybody knows that when it comes to necessary materials duct tape is the number 1. But if you want to always have it with you then you are lugging around a large roll that takes up a lot of room. This method allows for easy carrying of a lot of duct tape. It also looks good in your pocket and you can take it where ever you go. You should always bring duct tape with you when hiking and doing other outdoor activities but the rolls themselves are heavy and take up tons of space. This decreases that amazingly well.

You will need:
Some cardboard
And a roll of duct tape
A knife or scissors
And patience (if you are a fisherman then you know how annoying it is to wrap fishing line around sticks and stuff)

I enetered this into the pocket sized competition so please vote if you like this! Thanks!

Step 1: Cut Out the Cardboard and Attach It to the Duct Tape

This all depends on your preference on size. The cardboard has to be wide enough for the duct tape to not stick out. You can make it as long as you want, but I made mine 3 inches wide and 5 inches long. This fits in all pockets, jeans, shorts, or dress pants.

Now you have to stick at least 2 inches of duct tape on the cardboard to start.

And now comes the fun part!!!
(not really)

Step 2: Wrap the Duct Tape

Now comes the tedious step... wrap the duct tape around the cardboard until you feel that you have enough duct tape. If you feel that it is getting thick then you can make another roll.

I have already wrapped at least 2 feet of duct tape and it barely stands out!
If you were to put it in a pocket it would be impossible to noticed even with 10 yards!

Thanks for reading!

Step 3: The Final Version

And finally the completed version! It holds about 80 feet of duct tape!
