Introduction: Easy Modern House Miniature DIY

Even if you aren't good at hand-making, you don't have to worry since this DIY progress is easy-peasy!

Just follow the steps below!

Required materials:

A real blueprint of a house which you want to minimize

Any colors of foamboards ( Numbers of this is depended on the size of the house )

Various types of floor pictures

A Hot glue gun

A pencil, an eraser

A ruler

A craft knife

Step 1: Step 1: Bring Your Real Blueprint to Make a New Blueprint for the Miniature

Bring your real blueprint of the house which you want to minimize.

And convert the sizes of each room with a certain ratio (whatever you want) to make a new blueprint for the miniature.

Step 2: Step 2: Draw Some Elements Which You Need to Make Sure With

Draw some elements such as doors, windows for the systematic plan for the miniature.

Step 3: Step 3: Draw Rooms on the Foamboard

According to the sizes you converted for each room, draw outlines on the foam board with the ruler, pencil, and eraser. Draw them as accurately as possible that sizes of rooms can fit each other properly.

Step 4: Step 4: Add Floors

Cut off all floor pictures you have for each room, according to the size of the room that you wrote on your new blueprint. And attach pictures on the foamboard for all rooms.

Step 5: Step 5: Make Walls

By cutting off all foamboards according to the new blueprint you made, attach foamboards between rooms so that the rooms can be distinguished by the hot glue gun. And cut off parts of doors, windows as well.

Step 6: Step 6: Add Up Additional Elements (not Required)

These are further recommendations which you can upgrade the quality of your miniature additionally:

a. Add acrylic boards to the windows.

b. Make additional furniture by using other types of materials as well.

c. Paint over the outer side of the house miniature with acrylic colors.

d. By making some holes for mini bulbs and building some electrical circuits, add up lights to the miniature.
