Introduction: Fake Snow That Is Actually Cold
This fake Snow if a perfect inside activity for the kids. There are two ways you can go about this fake Snow, either they can just play with the Snow or you can make a sensory bin with using materials of your choice. I just made the Snow but feel free to make it your own activity by customizing it. The kids will really get a feel for real Snow because it's actually cold!
Supplies
Shaving cream
Baking soda
Something to stir it with
A container
Glitter or any other optional additives
Step 1: Start
To start this project, pour your desired amount of baking soda into a container. In order to make the Snow cold, place the container or baking soda in the freezer and allow it to freeze overnight.
Step 2: Combine
After your baking soda has frozen, add as much shaving cream as you want. My was blue but it can be white. But if you want to you can add blue food coloring. Then mix until combined. Add more baking soda or shaving cream to find your desired consistency
Step 3:
Step 4: Customization
Now that you've made your snow feel free to add any thing you want, I added glitter but I think little puff balls would be fun or any of your kids favorite sensory toys. Little arctic animals would be so cute in this.
Step 5: Have Fun
Now you can let the little ones enjoy their snow day. I hope you enjoy this activity. Thank you.
