In this instructable i am going to show you to make a quick and easy way to make a polymer clay fortune cookie.

Its a nice gift and a great way to brighten up someones day. you can make them in large batches and even give them to someone in the little take away gift boxes for that extra touch

Lets go.

Step 1: What You'll Need

Polymer clay in various colours

Light cardboard

Rolling pin but you can flatten it out by hand

circular shape cutter, cookie cutter or play doe will do

Tooth pick (not pictured. sorry)

Step 2: Making Your Fortune...

...messages that is.

Cut a strip of card about 1 cm thick and then cut it into smaller lengths.

The length of the card should fit inside your shape cutter with space at either side.

Write your fortunes(or special message)

Fold it in half length ways and fold it down the middle across ways

Step 3: Making Your Cookie

Take your desired choice of polymer clay and roll it out.

The main thing to keep in mind here is that you dont make it too think as its a nightmare to open but not too thin so it doesn't keep its shape.

cut it into a circle

Place the message into the middle with the short fold pointing up.

fold the polymer clay over on itself then using your tooth pick curve into the pac man shape

Bake your cookies as per the instructions of the clay

Step 4: Done!

And there you go!

The perfect quick gift to tell someone something nice

I should note that the purple one pictured was a bit on the thick side so aim for slightly thinner than that.

I hope you enjoyed this instructable and as always thoughts/comments/criticisms and even pictures of your own Fimo fortune cookies are welcome in the comments below :)
