As a fan of this rhythm game called Friday Night Funkin', I decided to make a modification to the game! Featuring my own character, music, and mechanic! Go against a stickman named Split that can bring double the trouble!

Supplies

You'll need a computer. You'll also need to download Psych Engine and the mod, but don't worry! We'll tell you how!

Step 1: Downloading Psych Engine

The first thing that you'll want to do is download the engine used to run this specific game, Psych Engine. You can do this by going to this website and clicking "Manual Download", which will take you to the zip file download.

Step 2: Exporting the Game

After you download the zip file, you will have to unzip the file to access the games parts. After you unzip the file, you should see all of the games files in order. Things such as: assets, mods, and the application itself! Don't open the game yet, however. We need to modify it now!

Step 3: Obtaining the Mod

Now that you have downloaded Psych Engine, you'll need to download the mod for the game, found at GameJolt right here! You will want to download that zip as well.

Step 4: Modifying the Game!

Unzip the vs-split.rar and drag the entire folder )and the contents within it!) inside of your PsychEngine "mods" folder. This will enable the mod to be within your game.

Step 5: Have Fun!

That should be all the hard work left to do! You open your Psych Engine folder and click on the application. This will take you to the main game where you press Enter to start your journey! Press Story Mode or Freeplay to choose the songs, and then you can play the game! For the rhythm game, you hit the 4 notes when they get to your side in time with the music; however, Split won't take it easy on you! Good luck and have fun!
