Introduction: How to Make a Seed Organizer From a Tissue Box

I have always had the problem of where to put all those extra seed packets when the growing season was over. They would pile up in the draws, some would get lost, and others would get crushed. This instructable shows how to make a easy, DIY, cheap, simple, and recycled seed organizer made from an old tissue box. This also has a positive effect on the environment because it keeps out a tissue box from the landfill.

Step 1: Materials and Tools

Scissors
Old tissue box (certain tissue boxes also have beautiful designs that you may like)
stapler

Step 2: Cutting

Cut on the dotted lines as shown or to each corner of the tissue box.

Tip: If you want to cut off the plastic wrapping do it NOW before you staple.

Step 3: Stapling

Staple right after the cutting to hold the tissue box together, and for durability reasons. Just staple as shown with a standard office stapler in the inside or the outside whatever you think looks better. It will still hold up the same.

Step 4: Conclusion

Now all you need to do is find your seed packets and put them in the tissue box and store in a seed safe location that is dry! If its wet your seeds might germinate in your seed packet making them worthless. Now enjoy your brand new seed organizer and you might also save some money.
