Introduction: How to Warm Up Your Bed

About: Why pay for stuff when you can make, build, hack, macgyver it. They are better and cheaper 100% DIY.

If you are like me and don't have central heating in the house, facing this hard cold days can be tuff.

A good solution is having a portable heater, but when is time to go to bed you can't take the heater inside the bed, because of the Gods of Engineering, "DO NOT COVER".

I wanted a solution design to use inside the bed, on the market they are very expensive, so why not make one.

Step 1: Watch the Video

Watch the video and see how easy it is to make this project.

Step 2: Gather the Material

You will need for this project:

-Oil Funnel

-Tumble Dryer Vent Hose

-PVC Cable Channel

-Zip Tie

-Fan Heater

Step 3: Get Started

First make a hole on the funnel the same diameter of the vent hose, and connect the two together.

On the PVC cable channel make two holes on one end to make a pole for the hose to stand up right, zip tie to the hose.

This funnel as a small handle that allowes to fix to the fan heater with a zip tie loop.

Stick the PVC cable channel to the bed like you see on the video, and you're done!

Step 4: How It Works

The funnel will direct the heat produced by the fan heater to inside the bed, the PVC is their to keep the hose up right.

The funnel and vent hose can manage the heat without any problem, the heat it's not enough to melt down, and the tumble dryer vent hose is design to work with heat.

Because the fan heater doesn't have the intake cover down it will not stop working.

Step 5: -

Now you can enjoy your warm bed every time.

You're still here, go and make this project!
