Introduction: Jewelry Holder

Do you need a fun, simple way to hang and display your jewelry? With this project, you can easily make a one of a kind jewelry holder! You even get to use a branch or stick that you can find in your own front yard. Since this project is made with a stick, no two jewelry holders will be the same. It is also fun to customize using different types of jars and paint colors!

Step 1: Supplies

You will need:

  • A stick (make sure it is strong enough for the jewelry you plan on hanging)
  • Spray paint
  • Sand
  • Glass jar or any small container
  • Newspaper (optional)

Step 2: Paint Your Stick

The easiest way to spray paint the stick is to hold it with a bag over your hand. Spray the branch on all sides and check for any missed spots.

Step 3: Let It Dry

Set the stick on newspaper to dry for about 30 minutes.

Step 4: Fill With Sand

Hold the stick in the desired position and pour the sand into the jar. Using sand is the best way to keep the stick in place and to keep the jar from falling over.

Step 5: Hang Jewelry

Now you have reached the fun part! Hang your favorite necklaces, bracelets, and earrings on the stick's branches.

Step 6: Other

For another jewelry holder that I made I used a mason jar and spray painted the lid to match the stick. There are many different ways to personalize this project and make it super adorable!

This is a great idea. I have used this basic design to make centerpiece decorations for our dinner table.
