Introduction: Knex Rapid Fire Grabber Gun

About: I'm in my final year of Product Design at uni so I don't have as much time for tinkering as I'd like. When I'm free I enjoy making props, mechanical models and an ever-growing 1/72 model of wartime Stalingrad -…
I was wondering what to do for a new knex gun so i turned to the make books, and there I found a Knex Claw Grabber so i began to build it but instead of making the claw i added a barrel, my new loading system and a magazine and to my surprise i could shoot very quickly, so i modified it slightly and i made this. you can fire it fast from the hip or aim from the shoulder, you fire it by pulling the handle right back and then releasing it with your fingers spread as below.
i know it isnt finished but i wanted to just get it published.

Step 1: Handle

Follow the instructions on the pictures.

Step 2: Handle Continued

After you have made the main part of the handle in the first step you will want to strengthen it as it will bend as it is.

1. Take 2 green connectors and attach them to a red rod.
2. Clip 4 orange connectors to a red rod as in the picture, then add 2 yellow rods to 2 of the the connectors and then to white rods with a grey spacers on to the other 2.
3&4. Clip a tan connector and 2 blue spacers on to a blue rod and attach it to the rest of the handle.
5. Connect the strengthener to the handle.

Step 3: Main Body

1,2,3. clip a purple connector to a blue one and then clip a blue rod on to the blue connector and clip that to 2 purples as in the picture. then put 2 green connectors on to each side of the purples with a green rod. then clip 2 red connectors to the blue connector with green rods and add green and white rods to each red connector.(make 2)

Step 7: Extras-Handle

how the make the handle to fit the red rods.
once you have made the handle, clip 3 yellow connectors to a white rod and put that on to the red rods as in the pictures below. once it is on you can slide some spacers on too to keep it in place.
