Introduction: Cooking With Microwave and Mason Jar
Hey, This is Ben and I Cook Your Venture Free. If you read my previous instructable (https://www.instructables.com/id/Filming-a-Plant-T...), you will know that I have grown a lot of radish microgreens in my office. It’s time to think about a recipe.
But here’s the challenge: How can I cook in the office? Since I am not allowed to use any fire to cook in my co-working space, the only way to cook my food is using the microwave and the mason jar.
Disclaimer: I do clean up after using the microwave oven!
Step 1: Ingredients
The recipe that I am going to cook is baked salmon with beans. Here are the ingredients that you need :
- Olive oil
- Radish microgreens
- Black Pepper
- Salt
- Salmon Fillet
- Long Beans (Magic Fruit)
Step 2: Prepare the String Beans
Trim the edge and cut about 2 inches long. Put all the beans into the jar and seasoning with a little bit of salt and olive oil.
Step 3: Cut the Salmon Fillet
Cut the Salmon Fillet into half and make sure that it fits the mason jar.
Marinate the salmon fillet with olive oil, a little bit of salt and black pepper. You may also do a little drizzle of lemon juice. Finally, add a few radish microgreens.
Step 4: Put Everything Into the Microwave
The salmon and the beans for 3 and 2 minutes respectively. Caution: Do not put the mason jar cap into the microwave and you should never put any metal into it. Also, make sure your mason jar is safe to use in the microwave.
Step 5: Conclusion
So there you go, baked salmon with magic fruits, easy and tasty. So next time if you wanna eat instant noodle in the office, please try to cook with microwave and mason jar.
