Introduction: Pisang Goreng Chili
Would you like to have spicy fried bananas for breakfast or tea time?
Here's the recipe and how to do it.
Step 1: Ingredients
A few bananas
100g of rice flour
150g of unbleached wheat flour
A pinch of pink salt to taste
A pinch of turmeric powder for coloring
A glass of lukewarm water
Chili flakes
Cooking oil
Step 2: The Making
I put the rice flour, wheat flour, turmeric powder, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Then, I poured the water little by little while I mixed the mixture.
Meanwhile, I preheat the oil until it's started to smoke.
Step 3: Goin' Bananas
I cut the bananas in two, and peeled the skin. I took the bananas' flesh, and put into the mixing bowl. I stir it well so that the bananas were fully coated with mixture.
The oil is already hot, so I gently put the bananas for frying. Then I flipped the bananas so that its cook thoroughly.
When its golden colored, I took its out, and put it on a tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.
Step 4: Some Like It Hot...
I sprinkled some chili flakes on top of the fried bananas. Now, we can eat it.
Bon appetit ;D
