Plastic Bottle Items

I decided that I wanted to share something that I learned to do when I was little. I learned how to make a plastic bracelet, funnel, and pencil holder.

Step 1: Necessities

A bottle with a large flat surface

A Knife or sharp scissors

A clothing Iron

Optional: A bottle of nail polish.

Step 2:

Cut the flat surface out of the bottle as cleanly as you can. Make the size a little large in order to have room to cut it down so that its flat. I failed at the beginning by trying to use a dull pair of scissors but it is actually best to use a knife.

Step 3:

Use scissors to trim the top and bottom of the bottle so that it is smooth and has no loose shards hanging. Do this with the bottom half of the bottle and the top.

Step 4:

Warm up the iron and slowly turn it so that the heat melts and bends over the plastic. Repeat with the other pieces. Be careful not to bend it too much or you won't be able to get it on and off.

Step 5: Optional

Take the bottle of nail polish and the bracelet to a well-ventilated area and paint the inside making sure to paint the folded over area.

Step 6:

Now you have a bracelet, funnel, and a pencil holder.
