Introduction: Pretty Paper Package Posies
Cut paper posies to make any occasion more festive!
Step 1: Supplies Needed:
Assorted papers
• colored printer paper,
• or cut up holographic bags purchased at dollar store
• or any heavy weight gift wrap
scissors
marker or pen
paper fasteners
optional clothespins or additional types of fasteners and glue
Step 2: Step 1
Cut several sheets of paper into a square shapes of varying sizes (precision not needed)
Place on table pretty side up – (I used plain white for the diagrams)
Fold in half - bottom to top
Step 3: Step 2
Fold in half left to right
Step 4: Step 3
Fold topmost layer diagonally in half by bringing the front right corner up to top left corner
Step 5: Step 4
Flip over to back and create a matching diagonal fold
Step 6: Step 5
Hold the triangle so the edge without any folds on it is at the top. Use a pen or marker to mark petals several different types of petals try pointy, rounded dimple ended, completely round with a fringe like edge (not shown)
Step 7: Step 6
Cut out between 3 and 6 sets of petals of staggering sizes.

Stack them up -add more if needed
rearrange till you like what you have
Step 9: Step 8
push a paper fastener through center of smallest cutout then push down through centers of the rest then push apart the fastener’s ends on back
Step 10: Step 9
Ready for your package!

To fasten the posy to package, either push the paper fastener through the ribbon before spreading apart the ends, or glue a small craft sized clothespin or other fastener to back
Use the clothespin to clip the posy to the ribbon, or the birthday girl’s collar

Hey! Those are really neat!! Much nicer than the store bought ones :)
