This is a simple guide to making beautiful quilling earrings. Follow these 10 easy steps to create these quilling earrings!

Step 1: Materials

To make these Quilling earrings you need:

Two different coloured Quilling Paper stripes (for one earring)
Quilling Needle
Glue/ Glue Tape
Earring hook (pair)
Two circular rings (to attach hook and quilling piece)

Step 2: Step 1

Place the first quilling strip inside the needle, as seen in the picture

Step 3: Step 2: Create a Coil

Hold the needle in one hand and the paper using the other. Then turn the needle as seen in the picture in order to create a coil (see second picture above)

Step 4: Step 3: Create the Shape

Slowly and carefully remove the coil off the needle and hold lightly to loosen. Then pinch two opposite sides of the coil to create ab eye-shape as in the picture.

Step 5: Step 4: Glueing!

After the shape has been created use glue or glue tape to attach the open side to the shape.

Step 6: Step 5: Second Circle

Take your second quilling strip (shorten the strip by tearing it in half) and use the same method as shown in step 1-2, but instead of pinching the ends you secure it as a tight coil itself.

Step 7: Step 6

Take a small piece of paper and attach it to one side of the circle with glue/ glue tape.

Step 8: Step 7: More Glueing!

Fold the two flaps and glue them onto the eye-shaped form. (See the pictures)

Step 9: Step 8

Use the same method, shown in Step 1-2, but instead of pinching two sides as in Step 3, you create a teardrop shape by only pinching one side. (See bottom shape of the earring on picture) Then use the same method shown through Step 6 and 7 to secure the teardrop shape to the rest.
