Rainbow Bath Bomb

Want to make bath time fun? Just try these easy to make colorful rainbow bath bombs. They are great as a gift or kept for yourself. Fizz away.....

Supplies

Makes 1 big and 1 small bath bomb:

• 100g baking soda
• 100g citric acid
• 100g corn starch
• 3 ml olive oil (or any other oil) (3/4 of a teaspoon)
• 3 ml water (3/4 of a teaspoon)
• essential oil (optional)
• soap coloring (blue,red,orange,yellow,green,purple)
• bath bomb mold (between 5cm and 7cm diameter are good sizes, 2 to 2.5 inches)

Step 1: Combine the Dry Ingrediants

First, in a bowl combine the baking soda,citric acid and the corn starch then give it a quick mix.

Then divide the mixture into equal portions into 6 cups or pots.

Step 2: Add the Other Ingredients

Divide the olive oil into the 6 cups and mix.

Then divide the water into the 6 cups and quickly mix so the mixture doesn't activate.

If you like you can add 1 drop of the essential oil in each cup.

Next add 2-3 drops of different soap coloring in to each cup and mix it up.

Step 3: Now Build It

Spoon each color of the mixture into the mold making sure to press down firmly between every color.

And also slightly overfill each half of the mold.

Then press each half of the mold together tightly.

If you like you can wrap it in tape so it doesn't open up.

Next let it set overnight.

Step 4: Time to Fizz...

Now take it out of the mold and it's ready to fizz in your bathtub.

If you want to give it as a gift you can leave in the mold and tie a ribbon around it.

You can even put a surprise inside, like a small toy.
