Recycled Craft Idea | Cardboard Vase

In this tutorial i will show you one way in which you can recycle an oats container to be used in your home decor.

Supplies

1. Cardboard container

2. Metallic Paint

3. Cotton yarn

4. Paint brush

Step 1: Prime Container

Use white paint and a brush to cover all packaging art. See video for demonstration.

Step 2: Arrange Paint Pattern

Pour different amounts of metallic paints into a cup to create a marble design. See video for demonstration.

Step 3: Pour Paint

Pour the paint slowly onto the primed container allowing it to run down the sides. See video for demonstration.

Step 4: Create Pull String Patterns

Submerge a piece of yarn into silver metallic and create pull string designs on the side of the container. See video for demonstration.
