Introduction: Removing and Storing Backhoe Kubota BX25

With winter coming on I had to get the backhoe off the tractor so that the snowblower (a rear mounted one) can be installed.  This year I am experimenting with supporting the backhoe on three inexpensive axel jacks (think I paid less than $10 each for these some time ago).  Without a support like this the hydraulic cylinders will gradually creep down over the winter putting the backhoe way out of alignment with the tractor.  No big deal as you can hook up the hydraulics to the tractor and raise up the backhoe to reinstall the hoe.  But, with the jacks in place I'm hoping that the backhoe will keep its position and make the spring time installation easier than usual.
