Introduction: Statement Headband

About: I'm a musician, crafter, dessert lover and proud grandma.

Pretty ribbons are my guilty pleasure. I love to find new and different ones! I bought this ribbon with fabric roses in a local fabric store but you can buy this kind on Etsy. It looks so detailed and everybody will think you spent hours sewing your roses.

Step 1: Materials

Plastic head band

Rose Ribbon

Scissors

Glue gun

Step 2: Measure and Cut

You can put the headband on to measure how long your ribbon is going to be. Don't leave it too long or it will look too bulky behind the ears.

Cut it with your scissors trying not to cut roses in half (I hate when that happens I think it's such a waste!)

Step 3: Glue

Put some glue in the middle of the ribbon and glue it from the middle to the sides. This way you will make sure the ribbon is centered. When you reach the ends put some glue under the headband to glue the sides of the ribbon inside.

Step 4: Ready!

Now you have a new and beautiful accessory! Keep the rest of your outfit simple to avoid looking too exaggerated.
