I believe little details are the glue of a strong relationship. It doesn't have to be something very expensive or complicated. It's always great to let someone know you cared enough to make something with your hands.This little box will sure make someone's day brighter.

Step 1: Materials

8x8 inches kraft paper square

Black marker

Gold paper

Scissors

Glue stick

Step 2: Kraft Square First Marks

Place your square in a flat surface. Fold your paper diagonally to both sides so that you mark an X.

Fold it horizontally and vertically so that you mark a "t"

Grab each corner and take them to the center forming a diamond shape and unfold them.

Step 3: Arrow Shape

Fold one of the corners to the first mark of the square and do the same with the opposite corner.

For it again and again until it reaches the half of the paper.

Do the same in the other side.

Step 4: Open and Fold

Find the center line of your shape. Hold one of the sides on top of it and fold it to the center line. Do the same with the side. Bring the upper corner down following the lines you just marked.

Step 5: Rectangle Shape

Fold the two rectangles that stand out of the shape to the outside.

Hold the triangle backwards as shown in the picture #3.

Grab the flange where you just fold the little triangle and fold it out to get a rectangle.

Step 6: Repeat

Repeat steps 4 and 5 in the other side.

You will end up with a square as shown in the second picture.

Step 7: Heart Shape

Step 8: Write and Decorate

Use your marker to write your surprise message inside the box.

Decorate it with your gold paper. I made a heart, confetti and initials for the heart.

Step 9: Ready!

Now your box is ready to spread some love. You can surprise someone special with a beautiful box made with your hands. This is great too if you want to put something else inside, a letter, money or small jewelry (a ring for example). You can just put a sticker to hold it close.
