Introduction: Taco Sushi!
Do you like tacos? Do you like eating with chopsticks? Garooob here with another fantastic Instructable. It's called Taco Sushi. Read on to make your own!
(Actually, it should be "Taco Maki" but who's counting?)
Step 1: Shopping List
This list has all the ingredients to make taco sushi as instructed by this Instructable. Feel free to add or subtract.
1 lb ground beef
1 can beans
1 jar salsa
1 package tortillas
1 jar guacamole
2 cups rice
Step 2: Make Tacos
You can cook your taco meat filling whatever way you want. Here's a quick recipe if you don't have your own:
brown and drain meat
pour in 1/2 jar of salsa
add drained beans
Ta-daaa! You just made taco meat!
Step 3: Cook Some Rice
Cook 2 cups of rice. I don't care how. Use a rice cooker or a pot on the stove. Just make sure to add a little extra water so the rice is sticky, but not enough so that it's mushy.
This is best done with freshly cooked rice, since leftover rice gets hard and dry.
Step 4: Prepare the Tortillas
Once your rice is done, spread a coating of it onto a tortilla. This acts as glue, just like in regular sushi. Then add a line of taco meat to one side of the tortilla. Don't put too much on or it will be hard to roll! Roll the tortilla up and using a sharp knife, cut it into slices.
Step 5: Presentation of the Finished Product
Arrange your taco sushis in an appealing manner and add a dollop (no more, no less) of guacamole (as the wasabi).
This is really all about presentation and fun. I was worried that they would completely fall apart when I picked them up with chopsticks, but they held together surprisingly well, even when dragged through the guacamole!

Be careful, tako-maki is an actual piece of sushi made of octopus! XD
..I might need to make this tomorrow, mmm. I think I might use lettuce for nori instead of tortillas, though.

Needs lettuce but otherwise is an excellent idea.
