Introduction: The Juggernaut

About: I make instructables. I also have a YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/MattLowneFilms
FEATURED 08/08/2010!

This is my battle tank. It has working six-wheel drive and a turret. The turreted cannon from the video and the old slideshow has since been greatly improved: It can turn smoother and the aesthetics have been massively upgraded.

The is an intermediate build, and novices may struggle to construct Step 2

Step 1: The Turret

We'll start with the coolest part!

1) You will need to stack these parts. Number 1 goes at the bottom, and number 5 goes at the top

2&3) Add the rods and washers on either end of the turret

4) Haha, The turret you must build differs from mine, because both sections of grey clips are made with 8 parts rather than 8 and 6. Don't worry, it works, I just didn't bother taking another photo, just slide the far left and third from the right yellow connectors away from the centre.

5) Make these. The yellow cog is a satellite dish, the other 2 are counterweights for the huge cannon.

6) The two green rods indicated are the fifth ones in either side. These are the ones that clip onto the blue rods sticking out. This makes the weight central.

Step 2: Chassis

What I did was build the chassis, then just took loads of photos and annotated them so you could follow it easily. You should be able to see how it all fits together from the first photo.

Step 3: Armour

Well done! The car now works. However, the looks suck. So let's fix that shall we?

Step 4: Weapon Mounts

From car to tank! The sixth picture is a symmetrical part. On the thrid picture it is ESSENTIAL that the blue+purple clip that holds the yellow rod is this way round, otherwise the turret won't clip on.

Step 5: Wheels

Use the first picture for reference.

Step 6: Finishing Note

So you should be finished, I hope you are happy with your very own Juggernaut! Here's a FAQ which some of you may want answering:

Q. My engine won't produce enough power for my Juggernaut to move!
A. My first suggestion would be to use new batteries. If this still doesn't help, then make the car just 4 or 2 wheel drive, because it will require less torque. To do this, simply cut the rubber band closest to the front of the car. The tank is now 4 wheel drive. If this still doesn't help, then cut the other rubber band.

And here's the pre-photoshopped images in case you wanted to see:
